A spring manicure with Clinique and L'Oréal!

Hey! If you've read my article yesterday , you know that I have given you an appointment today to present the nail patches that were in my Box Beauty Forever March. I was lucky because as soon as I found out I had a big crush for their ornate design but super chic! These are patches of Color Riche range "Nail Art" L'Oréal and I do not know them. I tried to find them on their e-shop but they are not available so unfortunately I will not give you a link to purchase them but I still read their street price is 11 95 €: it is a bit expensive but if you want a 'wow' effect manicure for a particular event (eg this model would be ideal for a wedding), it's still affordable.
Obviously, seeing this white model, I immediately thought of the pretty little white varnish Clinic I received recently: the Collection Room Service "Nude" . I did not want to apply the patches directly on bare nails because I hate when you can see a line between the tip of the nail and the white portion more "nude" and I did not want to find this effect would have denatured The pretty floral white pattern. So I provided with this pretty polish and that's good because it allows me to present today:

Bilayer its finish is opaque, slightly gelly effect and I would say it is the ideal varnish if you look varnish "clean" perfect. Indeed, it is far from the Typp Ex-effect that can be found very rude with some white lacquer: here, one remains in the delicacy and elegance. Huge heart for its formulation, its texture, its easy & quick application and especially for its finished ♥ .. I think you can find the video on my channel as I might use it and abuse it in the coming month!

Once this pretty well dry basis, I started in the application of these patches for a spring manicure to give the illusion to the girlfriends I'm really good at nail art while .. not. Krrrkrr!
The principle of operation is very simple: many sizes we patches are available and you can position them above our nails easy to judge from that suit. After the patch is peeled off her plastic plate, we put it on the nail, it is the "plate good" and the tip is folded patch fingertip to file away the excess. One can even use a small chisel for sharper results. After, the top coat is applied on the entire nail or patch (depending if it is textured or not, here it is not ideal because you lose the 3D side) is at the tip of the nail.

So we agree: the result is CANOOOOON. I'm super mega fan. It seems you also saw the number of comments I had under my photo posted on Instagram . The trouble is that I am absolutely not satisfied with the quality of these patches .. Explanation:
For starters, do not miss at the patch application. If you place too diagonally and you previously applied a base below it's over, do not attempt to reposition the failing all over again from the beginning. Obviously if you apply your patches on bare nails, the problem will not occur.
The major worry is when it comes to file or cut the patch after exceeding: they are patches quite "elastic" and if using a file, small residues remain in the nail edge, when using a small chisel is less pretty as less accurate and less natural. I finally get out and as indicated by the mark, I applied the top coat at the edge of the nail.
With all that, these patches are supposed to take 10 days. Oh well ... Maybe in the world of Care Bears, but not at home. Finally, it is agreed: they would probably stayed 10 days on my nails because they adhere very well but I can only imagine the state of my nails if I had not removed .. Despite the application of famous top coat, the tip of the patch has a tendency to peel, to catch all the little dust that pass, the small hairs of cats and so on. What a pain. After a shower, it's even worse. So I am one of those who easily feel this kind of unpleasant detail, it stresses me, I fiddle with my nails .. and it gets worse. Moral: after 3 days hop, dissolving bath, everything is removed. And it gets better.
In conclusion: I regret extremely rude detail especially as these patches are not sold € 5 but almost 12. The quality leaves a bit to be desired .. If you really pleases a pattern, you can crack and wear them for an event as I you explained in the introduction, but if you just want to have beautiful nails for 10 days, you're likely to be disappointed. The few patches I have left will not be sufficient for a new application so I keep them for a wedding in May, to use it as qu'accent nail! However, we do agree: varnishes Clinic you can darken your eyes closed, they are on top!
